I am a newer SAHM and just recently found cleaning videos on KZbin. I had no idea they even existed but I was immediately intrigued. It was extremely motivating and now I watch them everyday. It has really helped me stay on top of cleaning my own home and has also given me a lot of ideas on organizing and decorating. I absolutely love Disney! As a kid my mom would take us kids there for every spring break Vacation. I currently reside here in Florida and only 4 hours away lol since I've started my own family it's one of my things I'd like to take my son to. He's 2 years old and we haven't taken him yet. I remember all the good memories I had with my family and just enjoying being there. Something about it makes you feel like a kid again and deep down we still ALL are. No schedules not nothing, just have fun and it's what makes me look forward to doing that same thing with my own family. With covid and everything I'm a little nervous to go, but I know one of these days we will. I get motivation from watching your videos Michelle, I love to clean but then some days I don't lol we all know how that is. Working/ taking care of family/ cooking etc takes a lot out of you but thats why we are tough and can get things done! Cleaning helps me think a lot, I get great ideas on what I need to do as far as cleaning goes and trying new products as well. My favorite cleaning product I've been using lately is the brand called Method, all plant based, no harmful chemicals, not tested on animals and good for the environment.. but thats my choice of product lately I've been enjoying using. I'm trying to steer away from the chemicals and use cleaner products and products that are good for our environment and planet.

We also get the pink stuff in our showers and bath tubs and sink around the drain. I also clean homes as a side hustle to my full time job and most of them get that pink stuff too. I wish I knew what causes it .. I'm thinking maybe the type of water we have. But when I clean it , it is always so satisfying lol!

Heyyyy girl, a couple of months ago my best friend told me about Mrs. Myers cleaning supplies and anything that comes from Grove. So I decided to give it a try and I absolutely LOVED IT! Grove is just amazing! I work at a daycare with the little babies I wanted something that wasn’t harmful to them and to me. I get a lot of comments from my parents and now I got them hooked and the bonus is all the different smells! Lavender is my favorite! ❤️

Hi! First time seeing your videos. It is so motivating.👏🏼 You asked for tips or advice on your older lab getting up on the couch... I understand that as a lot of dogs age their bodies can get pretty sore and even if they have a dog bed they can still hurt if it is not supportive enough. Looking into an orthopedic dog bed with some good solid support will probably help a lot in keeping your dog off of the couch and also feeling more comfortable with an achy older dog bod. 🙌🏼

Well what I know in regards to your built up in shower/tub its your water, iron or hard/soft water. We had that problem with filter but regulary cleaning keeps up with it.

Keeping it 100% real and I love it Michelle!! And omg so many people can relate to going on vacation and coming home to a hair/slobber covered couch!! Ours were so bad! We never were able to keep them off 😭 And no our house gets so messy/dirty. We have a hairy dog, and cat and 3 people living in our home and the hair is so hard to keep up with. The dog tracks in mud and just general living makes a mess. You are NOT ALONE. One last thing, my entire family is fanatical about Disney World. I have adult kids and we have gone to Disney for many/most of our vacations and I don’t see that stopping in the future.

Oh our house gets really dirty on a weekly bases!! My husband and I have our 2 adult children living with us and our almost 9 years old daughter as well. 5 ppl in the house makes for weekly disasters lol especially when our almost 9 year old daughter is the queen of messes! 🙄😅 the place in our home that seems to get the dirtiest is the kitchen... it takes like no time after I've cleaned it to get back dirty again! Michelle, for that toilet you don't frequently use, try Bar Kepper's solution. It is fantastic! I use it for our basement bathroom bc we have the same problem. Also, for that large shower, I would probably use an electronic scrubber. I have one and it really helps save my back. I am older than you are, so I need that kind of assistance. :)

I usually use diy cleaners, usually dish soap and essential oils in a spray bottle with water. But I also love method all purpose cleaner!!!!! I do use very dilute bleach for disinfecting, mixed in a bottle with water. 😁

So glad I came across your KZbin last week! Love your videos! Also, I tried the young living cleaner and it literally took my breath away. I could not stand the smell, it was so so strong. Usually I’m not one to say something is strong, but it was a lot. It may not be like that for everyone though, you may like it 😊 also, have you looked into Norwex or Ecloth? I was told from a professional that “pink” around areas in a home that accumulate water (in a house with a water softener/purification system) is from the air. If you use sprays, candles, wall plugs, etc it drifts and mixes with the water and leaves the pink residue. It is only an issue with the water itself when the residue is black, gray, yellow, or green in color.

Get a couch cover. So, you’ll just have to wash the cover once a week or how ever often you’d like. We have 3 dogs and they never stay off the couch. Our Great Dane is a big couch dog. Literally, us humans sit in the floor while the dogs take over the two couches. 😂

The pink slime or residue is often referred to as Serratia marcescens. Serratia marcescens is an airborne bacterium or mold that grows on shower stalls, bathtubs, tiles, toilets, sinks, toothbrush holders, and can sometimes be seen on kitchen faucets.

The pink in your shower (and mine!) is Serratia marcescens - a bacterial colony that likes moist areas. It's not toxic and it's quite pretty! But not in the shower I guess... I clean mine with bleach, or my steam cleaner.

Hey Maria! That was the Tineco mop/vacuum. I have anther electric mop that is a shark but it is 6+ years old I got from Costco and I couldn't find it online anymore. It said to use only the shark solution but after years later I started using whatever I had and it seemed to work fine. I have not tried many other electric type mops. I do have the Bissell carpet shampooer and really like that brand as well and I know they make a mop too. I do recommend the Tineco mop but it can get a little pricey.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I used to be a ‘cleaner’ freak and needed everything clean and after my pregnancies and being tired and young kids I find it better to not stress about those small messes and just clean them when I’m in the right mindset and it’s been game changer for my mental health!! I totally understand you!

Honestly, I don’t know lol. I have a couple but I haven’t really tried them out. I think my thought was I would go through so many and have to wash a ton of them after every clean and don’t like wiping down counters, etc with a dirty rag. But I do waste a lot of paper towels so you make a good point. I’ll probably try using them in one of my next videos 😊

I just bought microfiber cloths from Amazon. I have been wanting to cut back on paper towel usage. I also use shop towels (the blue ones) when cleaning. Especially, hamster and guinea pig cages.

I would soak the covers first then wash them . Dogs on couches If you catch the dog then have a small snack handy and distract the dog or call it over to you as well . If not go to the dog if it looks like jumping up you say no then use the back of your hand towards the nose of the dog and say no about twice to begin with lead the dog to her bed perhaps

Rinse your mop water out into a metal strainer so it won’t clog the drains and then just dump the strainer in the trash

Our pets are family, they don't have anywhere they arent allowed to go...... you shouldn't have a pet if they can't be everywhere your kids or you can be. they arent accessories...

I understand your concern but I don’t think making a choice to not have them lay and dirty up the furniture disqualifies anyone from loving their pet or being a good pet owner. There are so many dogs in shelters and on the streets and in worse places than my cozy home in a cozy bed with lots of love and food and very much a part of our family!
