I always tell myself there but by the Grace of God go I. You have a lovely home and family. I saw some really pitiful folks today. You are being wise with what you are getting. If they had Ruby’s here I would be there.

Holy bananas! What an incredible deal! Halo Top retails for $4 (at least!) in my area, so if you got 64, that’s a retail of $256! Incredible! So awesome to see stores working with nonprofits so that food doesn’t just get thrown away. Edited to add: after watching your video, I googled Ruby’s in my location and there are several! Thanks for this awesome resource.

Buttermilk is fantastic to use as a marinade for chicken or pork, it helps it become much more tender. If you want to fry the chicken, more buttermilk can be used instead of eggs as a coating for getting flour/bread crumbs, whatever you like to stick to it. If you like Ranch dressing and have some seasonings available, the buttermilk makes great salad dressing, dipping sauce, etc. I was so excited to see all of those hard boiled eggs…one of my favorite snacks! I also see all that great bread, and think, ohhhh, with just a few seasonings and some mayo, egg salad!!! Yum! And you can make it fast in small batches. Thank you for showing us this, and I’m glad your kids get to have some treats, nothing wrong with that!

Do you live near Sharp Shopper? I live in PA too, and there are at least two Sharp Shoppers in the state. It's a discount food store where everything is incredibly cheap. It's like Aldi and Sam's Club had a baby, but much cheaper. You can easily fill a whole cart for around $100, and that includes meat and fresh produce. They're in a few other states as well, including Virginia.

The chicken was not worth $20. You can clearly see the original price on the pack $5.17 and she got two packs. But nonetheless, it’s still a great value for what she paid. The 16 screamin Sicilian pizzas were worth about $4 a piece at our local Walmart so that alone is $64 worth of pizza. I’ve noticed her newer 2023 hauls are never as good as these older hauls were though. Ruby’s doesn’t seem to give as good of stuff lately.

Hello lovely lady I'm a single mom of 3 from new York city I'm new to your Channel and love watching you we have food pantries in New York City but I can truly say they nothing like what I see from your from your city I wish I could find something like this out here where I live because it sure will help I thank you for sharing because you inspire me

Ruby's pantry is a Faith based food distribution and always located at a church for pick up. We have food pantry's (food shelves) here as well however like you they do not have as much as when I can get through Ruby's pantry. Maybe check with your local church they may know of resources like Rubys pantry or you can call your counties health and human services they may be able to direct you to a location like rubys, I sure hope so, I know what it is like to have to stretch the food as far as possible. Wow, I wish we had these in VA. What a great idea to stop food from being wasted and make food dollars stretch. Not to mention, I'm sure you get to try new things as well from time to time, which is great too.

Years ago my area had what they called share program I think that was also $20. Do you know ahead of time what you're going to get? I don't think we have any programs like that now just regular food pantries 2 of those are inside you are able to pick out what you want the rest of them in my area are drive-thru so the food is already boxed up. You got a lot of good stuff and I wish your family well

Our kids don't eat out hardly ever either and so when they get a rare treat at home of packaged foods I am not to worried about it. 97 percent of there diet is homemade/ semi homemade with LOTS OF FRUITS AND VEGGIES. 😊

They have set items each month that gets distributed so you never know what you will get, you dont have to take something if you dont want it. We just go down the line and take what they have that month. It has been a blessings💞

The food that is given each month for the $20 share is all donated from restaurants, stores and farmers. I do not think I have ever gotten can goods, I believe these are donated to the regular food shelfs.

It's not a food pantry it's a company that prevents food waste. And no I do not have an apple watch it is a fitbit I got for a birthday gift. Not that I need to explain that. I share on this page to give ideas to people with or without money. So please dont assume I am rich and use a food pantry just by what you think I can or cannot afford.
