I work for a church which has a cemetery. Check with them to see if they have a policy about how long they keep seasonal decor on the graves/around the tombstones. I would hate to see you put all that work into such a beautiful cross only for it to be tossed out a month or so later.

Thank you for reminding me of that. it's a small town cemetery so things get left for quite a bit. my sister lives there so she can get it when it needs to be removed. I was wondering how it would take the elements. I live in the midwest.
