Cheating is cheating, but there's the aspect of impact. Those 52 text messages Coach Moore "deleted" were reviewed by the NCAA and nothing was found. That's why it's a Level 2. But I don't see that being discussed by most news outlets. Why? Ohio St self-reported tampering (which is cheating/illegal) this year/off-season for contacting a recruit before the transfer portal opened. Many believe it was Caleb Downs. So all the same questions should be asked right? Who knew about it, when? Was it reported when it was immediately discovered or was there a delay? If the latter, why? Is it possible Ryan Day didn't know about illegally contacting such a highly rated player when everyone knows his job is on the line this year if he loses to Michigan again? Is there a cover-up? Did he intentionally have the recruit contacted knowing he could just self-report it and that makes it OK? It shouldn't matter if you believe he was going to OSU anyway right? Should Caleb Downs or anyone on the staff involved be suspended? How many games? Should an asterisk be put by whatever outcome this year because of this obvious and blatant cheating/illegal action to garner one of the top players in the country at his position? Because cheating is cheating. I can respect consistency. Inconsistency reeks of bias.

Rich, its incredible to watch you attempt to convince yourself Michigan did nothing wrong because they went on an impressive run at the end of the season. Its like you're saying, " It doesn't matter cause they won the last 5 games without stallions". No one has ever been caught saying Michigan wasn't talented. What they're saying is that they cheated, without a doubt. Why would you cherry pick the CJ Stroud TD pass that Stallions knew was coming? There is also a clip circulating where Stallions tells Minter "run right" and the defense brings the secondary down on a 3 wide look and stuffs the run perfectly on the right side. You cannot convince anyone with a logical mind that this operation didnt give them the edge in games. In a sport like football, all it takes is a ball bouncing a certain direction to swing a games momentum when both teams are equally matched.

It's annoying because there was no way to make the coaches and players forget all of the illegal information. He's too smart to pretend the three-year cheating ended.

@@hotdangers interesting, I didn’t know that. I’ve always heard root and stem.

If they didn't have stallions they would never touch a championship. And hairball loved him

And yet they won the last seven games of that championship season without him
@k.s.nichols40605 ай бұрын
@@kevinpowers2959That's silly. The whole point is that Stalions did illegal advance scouting for three years. The Cheaters had the signs. Your team's faux championship means nothing. Your team cheated. Michigan Men have no honor.

There's one thing that nobody talks about, every team they played after the reveal of cheating had to change their game plans/calls everything that was practiced since training camps and everyday practices all new playbooks. There is one team that didn't, guess who?

You cannot tell me they didn’t have loads of information from early in the season on other teams. Doesn’t matter if it was “rooted out” during the garbage games early in the season. They still gained a competitive advantage from this scheme. Their program grew from winning against teams like Ohio State. Their players got awards for being in the right place at the right time in key games. You can’t tell me recruits see that success and don’t want to become a part of it. Everything Michigan has accomplished since Connor Stallions implemented his plan is tainted. Those wins need vacated. And if Moore was involved or had knowledge, he needs to go. This was so big that multiple Big Ten coaches complained to the conference. This was so big that they suspended Harbaugh for the league championship. Like it or not, Michigan fans, it IS a big deal. It IS unprecedented. And nothing about their success was “fair and square.” NCAA P didn’t want a scandal in his post season so he had to quench the flames a bit. It’s not in his control anymore.

The issue is Harbaugh was not cooperative and basically giving the NCAA the middle finger in both investigations. If he was cooperative the recruiting violations would have been a nothing burger and the cheating violations would have gone away with minimal punishment. But I think TTUN will get hammered. I won’t be surprised if it comes soon as the season starts or Middle of this season.

I think more people think the cheating had a higher impact on 22 more than 23. They didnt need it in 23 but whether they needed it or not. Isnt the point. Cheating is cheating. Gold pants is a non factor compared to this.

the fact that Ohio State was leading during games and that Ohio State scored on the play that shows Michigan players indicating it was going to be a pass; shows that Ohio State was the better team until they couldn't overcome the cheating of Michigan knowing what play is being called. Quit acting like that knowing the signs of the play called did not give Michigan an advantage.
