Dennis, I love how honest, real, and unbias you are. I’m a Buckeye, but you have always stayed steady in understanding giving honest opinions to your audience and not deceiving them with maize and blue juice.

Some notes: - Colston Loveland is one of the best "big-bodied" receivers in the country. He can and has flexed out wide. He is also a better blocker on the perimeter against corners and safeties rather than defensive ends and linebackers. Let Max Bredeson and Marlin Kelin do most of the dirty work with their hands in the dirt and give Loveland more opportunities to make plays in the passing game as a split end. - I like the the potential of Tyler Morris, Semaj Morgan, and Frederick Moore in the rotation at receiver. Loveland should be the top target and Donovan Edwards will catch a lot of passes too, but the team needs some young talent to step up. Michigan doesn't beat Alabama without Morris making a great play for a TD and Morgan displayed a lot of play making ability throughout his freshman campaign, so there is a lot to be excited about. If Moore can at least somewhat fill the void left by Cornelius Johnson that would be a huge step towards developing a solid corps. - Josh Priebe SHOULD be the best lineman IMO, but that's not saying the rest of the line is bad. They all just need time to gel as a unit. I really like the talent there. Priebe and Hinton will be a nice duo on the left side of the line. Overall, I do believe this line will continue to SMASH! - I don't believe Michigan will go after a QB in the portal unless somebody special was there. I think they'll be fine with who they have on the roster. Jack Tuttle will probably win the starting job once he's fully healthy. Orji can assist like he has but Tuttle just has the better passing skills and he's more athletic than most people know. - I am totally comfortable with the Ja'Den McBurrows, DJ Waller Jr, and Jyaire Hill trio of corners opposite Will Johnson. I also think Zeke Berry will be a "breakout" player for the Wolverines.

People are so damn impatient. Recruits want to get to know coaches and establish relationships, they’re not going to commit right away. Settle down people, trust in Sherrone and the staff. He assembled a terrific staff.

Nice job Dennis. I’ve been listening to you for years.

All we need it a big WR in the portal like Baldwin from a few years ago .

Orji needs to start and I think is the best fit he also adds a third weapon with Michigan and it’s his legs. Tuttle I just don’t think is that guy and his career will be a back up or third option. Should be orji and back up denegal, Tuttle, Warren, Davis(but should honestly could start)

You’re only as strong as your weakest link

I'm sorry, but a team cannot possibly be nationally competitive if it literally doesn't have a QB or any WRs, and that is going to Michigan next year... it really is that simple. I think we'll have a LOT of close games, to the credit of our defense. So, I would say we win 9-10 games if we're lucky, and 7-8 games if we're unlucky.

My bet is that Jack Tuttle is going to be the starter against Fresno State. He was a high four star prospect who struggled with injuries and consistency when thrown to the wolves at Indiana. Over the last two years as a backup he has completed 82% of his passes on 39 attempts for two TD's and no INT's. He also averaged eight yards per carry in 2023.

@@freeheeler00 Maybe, but he also has virtually no starting experience, and frankly, a 7th year player who has never started anywhere is a more than concerning statistic.
@freeheeler006 ай бұрын
@@mattdrewdrums He started three games as a sophomore in 2020 when Michael Penix got hurt that year and started a couple more in 2021. He has basically sat behind Penix and McCarthy most of his career when he wasn't nursing his own injuries. If he can stay healthy he will surprise a lot of people.

@@freeheeler00 He never won a starting job. Also, he left Indiana specifically because he knew he wouldn't win the job in camp. That's pretty troubling that a guy wasn't good enough to start at Indiana. Also, I'm all about recruiting rankings, but generally when a guy is this deep in his career and has done next to nothing, him being a 4 star recruit is basically irrelevant. I would rather get some former 3 star QB in the portal that has been balling out at some small school.

@@mattdrewdrums Well, I can understand him not beating out two guys that could both be first round picks this year. I couldn't tell you what Tom Allen was doing as a coach at Indiana either. Whatever it was it didn't work out and that's why he got canned. At any rate, I trust the Michigan coaches and the process.
