Michigan Football Star Will Johnson Rated #1 OVERALL in NCAA Football 25

EA Sports dropped their list of the highest rated players in their upcoming video game, NCAA Football 25, set to release to the public next week. Topping the list was none other than returning National Champion Michigan Football's Will Johnson. Rated as a 96 overall, Johnson along with Ollie Hampton from Oklahoma State and LSU's Will Campbell top EA's list. Among the top 100 rated players in the game are 8 players from Ryan Day's squad at Ohio State including transfers Caleb Downs and Quinshon Judkins as the highest rated Buckeyes.

What blows my mind is Ohio state can talk bad about McCord, and then say that Will Howard is better, even after watching him play at KSU and getting benched. The disconnect is crazy! If you lost last year BECAUSE OF McCord, and you bring back almost the same team, and you have a worse QB, and then say it’s beat Michigan and then natty or bust. I just don’t understand why QB isn’t a concern? I guess that’s part of being a fan…LOL

@@dot3079 I would say yes, he is incapable of playing as well as McCord…as a thrower especially. He has bad habits, and he is highly inaccurate. He double clutches a number of times in the games I watched, and when he gathers and throws the ball after he hesitated, he throws off his back foot. Several of his interceptions were caused from that double clutch…along with him not being able to read defenses at a high level, with no anticipatory skills before the snap, that a good or great QB possesses. He is dangerous with running the ball, but only if he catches the defense off guard, but he cannot win a big game with his arm or legs individually. He is a worse thrower than McCord, and he makes JJ McCarthy look like Tom Brady. And JJ McCarthy is about 100levels below Tom Brady when comparing the two. And if you grade Howard on his running ability, Orgi looks like Michael Vick compared to Howard. All that to say, Howard is a dangerous runner if the defense is out of position. And if they aren’t out of position, he is an average QB, and he is an average runner.

As for last year Penn State had no offense, Ohio State had a shitty quarterback, and bama had a subpar o line and QB by their standards. Washington's defense totally sucked and was so fundamentally unsound I don't know how they even made it to the playoffs. Pretty damn easy path the national champion let's be honest. But since I am being honest Michigan was a damn good team too. I'm not taking that away from them They had a bruising running game and a tough ass star studded defense last year.
