Michigan and Indiana truly are the best waterfowling states out there. Hybrids, big greenheads, and bands. Can't beat that.

@high prairie sportsmen I also respectfully disagree... Indiana doesn't even rank in the top 10 states and actually ranks as one of the worst. Michigan on the other hand, consistently slides into the top 10 states, I believe it ranked 8th last year.

My brother is a wildlife biologist in AK. His first job, part of his job was to catch these birds for banding. They catch them when they are molting and can’t fly. In the the 25 years as a wildlife biologist he still says it was the dirtiest job he ever had to do. Those birds poop all over, splash you, fight you, muddy as hell, plus all the paperwork😂 Hope you all call those leg bands in to help those biologist who work so hard to place them there. Good boy Chief! He is awesome👍🏻

@@DuckGunChronicles I was able to get a band my second year of duck hunting back in 06 on a mottled duck banded in Gainesville Florida of that year. My buddy who had been hunting 20 years at the time was so surprised I shot a banded Florida duck. We never would have thought they banded ducks in Florida we were wrong lol.
