Michigan has passed for 200+ yards twice this season and lost both by 19 and 14 points. The last eight games they passed for less than 100 yards they are 8-0 including Washington, Penn St, and USC. IMO, go back to Orji and go all in on the power running attack.

It doesn’t matter if they stack the box. As long as they can get 3.5 yards a carry and sprinkle in a few short passes, the offense can score enough. They were up big in the Minnesota game at half and came out with an entirely different gameplan that didn’t suit Orji’s skills. Tuttle and Warren aren’t good enough passers to justify throwing the ball 25-30 times a game. Orji atleast moved the chains with his legs every now and then. No matter what, this offense isnt going to blow up for 40+ points. Turning the ball over cant happen. Orji is the only guy who didnt do that

Its coaching at all spots. They know the the guys they have and what they can or cant do, if they don't then they all need to be fired. But you're telling me coming off a bye, this is the best they got? A full extra week to evaluate what you have and know we can or cant do this. Good coaches put players in spots to be successful. This coaching staff is not. If someone can't throw etc. well its the coaching staff to find what they do best and use that the best they can. Theres plenty of coaches across CF that do that from the Sun Belt to the SEC. Its coaching.

I'm pretty concerned about the coaches. First, they apparently can't recognize a power 4 qb, since they raved about the qb room. Second, three o-linemen we've heard great things about the last couple years, and waited their turn, we're beaten out by freshmen. When that happens, the freshmen better light the world on fire or you're killing team morale. They start with Warren, who had NO help from his line, and switch him out for Orgi. Then they have Orgi run the Warren offense instead of scheming for him. All Orgi did was run until he was the starter. Then all of a sudden he's a hand-off, drop back guy. Wth?! The defense is often out of position, miss lots of tackles, and give up as many big plays as any team in the country. I'm a longtime Wolverines fan, but man, this looks like Hoke, year 3 or 4. A year after the Natty. With all this talent. Hard to stomach. But... Go Blue!

Agreed! Bleed blue. But after that first game against Fresno , I had a bad feeling about the coaching . Something was just off . But it was early. Every single game since then has affirmed more and more that the coaches are the problem . Don’t get me wrong , the players are responsible too. But there’s talent on this team. An average coaching staff , I GARUNTEE , woild win at least 9 games with this roster and schedule. There’s no way to prove that. But there’s just too many issues across the board . There’s no way it’s not primarily coaching .

Sadly it doesn’t really matter which of the 3 QBs on the roster starts or plays on Saturday. They have a shot against MSU, given Michigan is the more talented team, but Sparty is the better coached team. This game is the difference between 5 or 6 wins this season, assuming they can beat N’Western, and I’d like to believe that will have some bearing on whether Moore gets fired or not, but I’m guessing he’s untouchable for this year at least. The beat downs against Oregon and especially OSU are going to be brutal.

It’s not who you play it’s how you play. Every game they have played has not been up to the standard of a good game for one reason or another. QB & coaching are not acceptable and EVERYONE knows it. JJ was a top 10 pick . And he barely EVER threw the ball 30 tiems . But for whatever reason , we have the worst qb room in history , and we throw , with our 3rd qb, thirty times …while our running backs were doing well . Or at least mullings. I try to cut the coaches soem slack but they are just making bad decision after bad decision. In development , in personnel , in play calling and game planning , in practice time usage apparently lol . I love Moore and am all for being patient with him …but he needs to have the screws put to him . This is garbage . Somebody needs to have some consequences and feel the need to coach better, for their jobs
