If they land Ty Haywood and Zahir Mathis, I think they would be the #4 class. Alabama is currently #3 with 3 - 5 stars and 15 - 4 stars, and 3 - stars. Michigan would have 4 - 5 stars, 15 - 4 stars, and 6 - 3 stars.

Harbaugh was big on revenue sharing but he didn’t want to pay unproven talent (high school recruits) so even if he had it at his disposal it probably wouldn’t have amounted to much. We really have Dusty May to thank for NIL because he told Warde Manuel he wouldn’t coach at Michigan without it available.

@nicholastaiariol2631 though Harbaugh for years, wanted the players to be compensated. I think he was exasperated, constantly arguing with the Michigan administration over the issue. He had to come up with something that made recruits feel they were still getting an advantage by going to Michigan. Michigan dumping the appeal for Harbaugh was the telling sign that administration had turned against Harbaugh in every way. The Michigan AD and their administration really sucks when it comes to backing up their coaches all through history. Those that left since this AD arrived leaves a lot to be imagined as to why they all suddenly left.
