Campbell needs to open up the playbook. We need more misdirection and play action passes while giving Kalel Mullings (7.5 ypc) 20 carries and getting Donovan Edwards involved in the passing game more. If Orji maintains the 5.8 yards per carry against USC and plays mistake free football it will be a long afternoon for the Trojan's offense as they are sitting on the sidelines watching the defense get pounded.

Having Davis start the first 3 games will turn out to have been a good decision. Davis was actually the better starter for Texas, and it allowed Orji to avoid the inevitable loss that was going to be. A suss defense like USC's is a good game to come out as a starter against.

This isn't Texas or Ohio State. USC got outplayed and barely beat a mediocre LSU team then played a community college. USC has more to prove before I fear them.

You have only been watching stats. Usc is not better then michigan. If orji happens to just bring out his complete talent in his first start at michigan usc will get destroyed. Are D will do its job as long as orji can move the ball and control the clock. Orji moves the ball and turns on beast mode we will win out this season and get a number 7 spot in the playoffs.

USC is not OKLAHOMA. I AGREE RILEY got batized by far and he thought he can get away with being a perrenial good coach. USC competes with the likes of DODGERS N LAKERS where love them or hate them these teams are always gunning to be CHAMPIONS. Even The CLIPPERS will outsoend anyone to be the APPLE OF MANY Angelinos eyes. USC is not different. And the topic of him chamging last year from GRINCH to someone elese is moot. Only this year was he able to collect the stars and align the constellation of outstanding defensive coaches. LYN ENTZ HENDERSON and Belk are among the very best at what they do. This also accelerated THEIR RECRUTING. So you can say he took 1 step backward and a leap forward.

California recruits for the most part don’t pan out after high school as good as the two trinity league giants mater Dei and Bosco are their players rarely if ever .. never pan out at the next level especially the nfl.. southern cal is recruiting more than fine and local kids are starting to pay attention
