Michigan State Parks 100: Brimley

Brimley State Park is primarily just a campground, but it has a lot of sites, sits right next to Lake Superior, and is located in the northeastern part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, which makes it a good basecamp for day trips to see great places in the U.P.

This was our 2nd michigan state park campground on our recent trip, again all based off your videos. We stopped at the soo locks as well Whitefish point while in the area. As we pulled up, I told my wife this looks really familiar. I think its the trekkers intro! Thanks 😁

Yep, that's in our intro! 😀 I hope the museum was open for you to check out. But even if the museum is closed, I think it's still worth the trip to see the lighthouse and the Lake Superior beach and point. Isn't the UP awesome? -Ari

@@Trekers i agree with you on space. we stayed on site 48 which is on the back side near the restroom . so we were by the trees which had alot of shade but still. people were packed in there like sardines lol. we weren't really there too much though we went to the soo and did the museum and soo locks boat tours and stuff. pretty much gone for the majority of the day

The bathrooms are supposed to be all redone before they open at the end of June this year (2022). We'll be camping there for Independence Day week so we'll see what they are like then.
