Great stuff again. YS is my home state park and was the first place I camped with my R-Pod. Also good to work from if you are in the modern campground closer to Gun Lake. The dump station ratio per sites isn’t great but par for the course with many MI parks. All the best!

Cool, it's close to home. Did you see if there were boat launches on the smaller lakes? Could you take an RV into the rustic campground?

I double-checked on the boat launches and they are available at the smaller lakes. Only the launch site on Deep Lake and from the day-use area of Gun Lake are ADA accessible though, FYI. As for the rustic campground, yes, there is room in there for RVs, it's not just tents only. -Ari

Are you able to drive around and see all the different areas…for people that don’t want to hike and bike but still see what the area looks like?

You can see a number of different areas via roads and parking near the beaches and picnic pavilions. Here's a blog post Jessi wrote for our website with more info about the park: trekers.org/yankee-springs-recreation-area/ -Ari
