Idk how I found this video, and I’m very late but I just wanted to say a few things. Red Cedar River people can kayak through it, usually you’ll find people fishing in labs, especially the environmental majors. Campus is HUGE and there’s so much more land on the south end with farms (horses, cows, pigs, chickens, goats) and the horses and cows you can visit whenever. The Broad art museum is a building that has no 90 degree angles and it was the location of the party on Batman vs Superman. Most of the buildings are probably dorms, some of the dorms have classrooms on the main floor. There are larger buildings for classes more in the middle of campus. Seems like you stayed more towards the north end. Also the water slide parking garage, literally everyone thinks it’s either a water slide or some weird take on hamster tubes 😂 but all those businesses on grand River are super easy to get to and it’s nice to have that easy access if you don’t have a car on campus. And you are correct campus is so much more lively during the spring and especially since no one is living there it’s pretty dead. I think normally it’s somewhere around 50,000 people on campus normally? And if you’re doing marketing try to live in a dorm close to the business college, it’ll save you a lot of walking time And downtown lansing they have the lansing Lugnuts baseball field and that’s always a fun thing to go watch during the spring.

You sound like an experienced Spartan 😂 Thank you for all this info! I was definitely unaware of a lot of the things I was looking at but I still had a good time just walking around.

Yes it is. There’s a ton of student organizations and probably known as the biggest party school in Michigan.
