What a great day for a 'Fly - In' and it seems to be well attended! Looks like a fun time with some fellows. I LOVE Michigan, and- almost moved to Grand Rapids about 30 years ago. But, actually, fell in love with the middle of the mitten. Where else could you buy a new house and 40 acres for $60,000.00 and live like a king with genuinely nice & honest neighbors. Almost bought a place in Alma, MI I loved it so much. I don't even think there was a stop light in town- gotta visit soon. Also, bought a fancy dancy sports car (2007 Mazda RX-8) from a nice guy outside of Bay City a couple of years ago. Flew in, met the seller for the very 1st time, paid him the modest balance owed- $500? shook hands, thanked him for a very enjoyable transaction from 1,200 miles away, hopped in and drove home. Skipped Detriot, but also missed Ann Arbor (another favorite of mine in my drinking days...). Rick, I hope you know how jealous I am that you get to do what you do and live where you live!
