The most incredible play of this game was on the punt return and it wasn't by Morgan. Watch #4 for Iowa be the first guy down the field and dive 10 yards past the return man and slides on his stomach. He gets up and runs through the entire middle of the pack pushing guys out of the way to run down Morgan at the 5 yard line. It's well worth watching this play. The speed is impressive and the determination is even more impressive. I think his name is Koen Entringer and this guy should be team captain just for this play alone.

Watching it the first time I was impressed that he ran him down. After going back and seeing that he was one of the two that whiffed initially, the fact that he caught him after falling down and running through the pack makes the effort as impressive as you claim. Thanks for making me review it.

Iowa's defense really played well. Filled the holes and covered ground quickly and didn't allow for much separation from the receivers. All in all, it was a tough gritty win. Go Blue!

Decent game. Michigan got the win like most of us thought they would. If the Hawkeyes had an ounce of juice and a capable quarterback they might have been able to stick around for a bit. I will say this. Iowa's defense is elite. One of the best in college football. They have elite fundamentals, elite coaching, and know 100% of what their job is, how to do it, and why they're doing it. These guys do not make mistakes. All of them know how to play multiple positions. They never lose sight of the ball. It was their defense that carried them to the championship. I wish we could've seen McNamara vs the quarterback who won the battle at Michigan, but I ended up just enjoying Iowa's defense more than anything. Go Blue and let's go get that championship finally!

Michigan played "good enough" to win, field goals are "good enough" to win....Blame the Hawkeye offense for gift wrapping a red zone turnover....Michigan at least moved the ball well enough to put their kicker in a position to add points, which he did....Iowa couldn't even muster field goal range, and 3 turnovers isn't a recipe for winning against anyone.....Much, much, respect for Iowa defense.....That said....GO BLUE!!!

As a Michigan fan I feel almost no thrill this year. Don't care how good Iowa's D is, I cannot believe we couldn't run the ball and open up the field a little more. Nor could we milk some clock throughout the 2nd half. Loveland dropping that pass late in the 2nd QTR still has me pissed. This O better do some serious work the next few weeks because come Jan 1st we aren't playing a middle school offense so our D will not be able to do it all.
