Can we get rid of conferences yet? Just make 4 regions with divisions. You'll maintain most rivalries because they are region based anyways. Then you can eliminate all of the conference controversies. Division winners are in the playoff. The playoff starts with conference championship game.

Can't believe Georgias year.. In and Out, in and out! haha. Alabama is still right on the outside to.. College football is crazy and there is still a chance they hop back in, even after the embarrassing loss. Notre Dame though, they are brutal rn. Love seeing the B1G all over this and it's not the team up north, Although my Buckeyes have the biggest one tomorrow. I am actually loving this playoff thing, can only work on what is weird and make it better from here. Was worried that game at the end of the season 'The Game' would mean less. I think it's going to still mean a lot because the winner will more than likely stop the other from the Conference championship and a off week in the playoff.. so I like it. If Washington upsets Oregon I am going to lose it, I want a Rematch for the Buckeyes

I think it’s pretty clear that going to a conference championship and losing is the worst thing that could happen to you now. Likely drop in rankings pulling a harder matchup and no rest at all (unless you’re POS Notre Dame)

I don't understand the NCAA needing to be so cute and unique with their playoff. 16 or 32 team playoff. No Auto bids. You get in based on merit of what you accomplished during the season. No CCG and remove a non conf game. Ends up being 16 games if my math is correct. Which is less then what's possible for these young men to play now. Top 32 in a bracket mean the chance of players sitting out is low. Removing bowl games and increasing bracket size means 23% of FBS teams make post season. That's a solid number imo.

Sorry Mark Bama will lose to Auburn 5-6 who's playing for a bowl & looked good beating Ol' Miss. Committee just saw Bama lose to a 2nd unranked team w/ no TDs scored. Undeserving. There will be chaos in SEC. Last Bracket will be different. Your right Texas & Indiana has NO top 25 wins undeserving but look good. Jim Tressel had a good Idea to solve players do not play Bowl games. Have a 10-game all conference season, 24 playoff teams (top 8 get byes). Players will play in a playoff; does not jump in porthole.

Conference champions get an automatic bid. The G4 champs and top ranked G5 champ. Big 12 champ would be ASU
