I love Tom Izzo, but Beilein might be the best coach in college basketball. Plus, he's a class act! In my opinion, Izzo has been cursed with reputation. No good deed goes unpunished, and his amazing success at MSU has brought him tremendous athletes who might not be tremendous individuals. With the exception of McGary, Michigan's program - since Beilein's hiring - has been unblemished by controversy. McGary failed a drug test, and left the team. That's the policy. I'm not sure this is a Final Four caliber team, but, they are responsible for 2 of MSU's 4 losses - including one in East Lansing - and both games were blowouts. If they could shoot free-throws, this might be another 3-4 loss team.
