Body size 3.5 for sure ! That took restraint bro! Good for you. Im in a.p.r zone mason county and a 4 year old on federal/state land is pipe dream! The meat hunter s whack all the 2.5 yr olds ! Good hunting good luck

That 6 point doesn't look like it's a pass to me lol! I've had 2 spikes come within 10 yards but refuse to shoot one. I'm a first year hunter and just scored an amazing 10 point while he was bedded down as my first deer about 2 weeks ago. Incredibly blessed! The way mine happened was beyond luck (posted it to my channel) but I'm almost struggling on trying to nail the basics of hunting and finding the proper spots. I have an a.m. and p.m. stand for bedding/feeding and I know patience is as big as scouting/prep and that is honestly my weakest link... I feel theres so much more to learn as a new hunter when you climb down the stand an hour early and survey more in person out of curiosity. Becomes a mind game with myself when I constantly hear them all around me but nothing within under 40 yards for a bow shot. I saw the elk hunt you guys posted on your channel (incredible experience to watch) and noticed that you said it was near the Pigeon River Forest. That's where I'm located myself. Anyways, looking forward to more Michigan footage! Good luck and stay safe!

No doubt hunting is a marathon of learning. Keep at it. Those with the desire to learn, will. The PRC is a great place to do it. There’s so much room to work with and different terrain to experiment with. Good luck this season!

Nice job on the video. And thanks for not shooting the first dink buck you saw, like many Michigan hunters do on public land.

Beautiful little guy, I passed on a 10 pt that was really wide 18-19" inside but I had a hard time counting pts at 15 yards the brow tines might have been 3.5" and everything else was short, more like nubs. I'm going to try and get one of my kiddos on him during gun season.

It’s a little different for everyone but I think we all know the buck we want when we see it.
