This is a great video, but I have a question. If the student has a 1:10 insulin to carb ratio and the carbs are 19, when they put the numbers in the pump, will it automatically calculate that?

As an adult T1D for a long time there’s so much not true to life here. Count and cover is not healthy if you’re eating pizza, Chinese, etc. much more complicated! Best is not to eat these foods. Just low carb, protein. Keto, carnivore has changed my life.

You are correct! I’m type 1 and Carnivore works best for me.

@@shanefuller8907 You will have to do your own research to see what foods causes major blood sugar spikes. Track your food… First, you will need a Contiguous GLUCOSE MONITOR (CGM) Strength Training, jogging and walking will help you become mentally, physically and emotionally strong. Carnivore and keto tends to help because you don’t have to take as much insulin.

Shane Fuller Apologies, that was not a great why to ask the question.. what if you need to put on weight as well as being insulin dependent? He is still in hospital lost 12 kgs..(from 37kgs) struggling to even pinch the skin to inject. Thanks
