Hi Don. Thanks for this. I grew up in the Mission from 1968-1979...it was exactly as you described. My parents and i often had meals with the May family - and Ann was indeed an excellent cook.

Hi Don, My husband and I got to Wawa this past autumn for the first time. We were hoping to explore Catholic missions around Lake Superior but found little info online. What got us started was happening upon the Bishop Baraga Shrine in L'Anse, MI. Finding this short film is encouraging--'much appreciated!

Caro K Facebook now is probably the single largest depository of local information going. There is huge collection of old photos re Wawa.
