1982. Micho waiting outside the fish and chip shop in Miltown Malbay. After hearing a young learner do what she could playing The Rakes of Mallow, Micho played it with all the modest genius at his disposal.

Not sure about that date at Ennis. The Fleadh Cheoil in ‘78 was held in Listowel, Co. Kerry and indeed Miko Russell was there, I have the photos, programme schedule and t-shirt to prove it, but maybe everyone was pulling a trick on me!😊 Perhaps I consumed a bad pint and hallucinated it all!
