Your dress looks almost exactly like the middleagedminx dress! I think black is a classic, timeless colour and you look absolutely lovely in your dress. I do read instructions before I start sewing, but only follow them if there’s something unusual in the pattern design. Tell His Lordship I said hello. I love the dresses. The red sparkle buttons look fantastic on the black dress. You encourage me to get back in my sewing room. Emotionally I just haven’t been up to it. I found out on October 28 that I have cancer of my gallbladder and bile duct. Right now I know nothing about how advanced it is. I have an appointment with a surgeon on November 5 and with oncologist on November 18.

ooou ! The black looks amazing on you. You have such beautiful eyes. I definitely prefer the black stand collar type to the navy blue peter pan. With a black fabric belt , it will be a ditto copy of Jo goody ( I follow her too and do not like the promotions that You tubers take on .They should stick to their content. With some of them, they spend almost quarter of the time promoting the products .It is okay, if it is just a quick mention of the product with the link.)

Well, I follow Midle Aged Minx and loved her Dior style dress so like you, I decided to copy it and I made it in black cotton. I put brown buttons on mine. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough fabric to make a full circle skirt. It is quite full though. There will be a full skirted version in the near future. You look very elegant in yours. Oh Michou I’m making a jacket by atelier brunette and every bit of it is a chore there is not enough instructions and most of the time I can’t make head or tail of them but ime like a dog with a bone and keep trying but if it turns out ok in the end the pattern will never be repeated the instructions are ridiculously mixed up 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷

They are nice. And I love ❤️ that shape dress. I am tall and with that type of dress, I am better able to balance my shoulders(small shoulder pad) with my hips to look like a true hourglass. Love it on you. You are so beautiful 😍.

Stunning. Don't bother making the sash style belt, the belt you are wearing works beautifully. Maybe change the interconnecting buckle to red? But regardless, the simplicity of the belt enhances the elegance of the dress. Dior would have been proud to claim it.
