Forget About BFG Division, This is the best and yet underrated music of Doom. How I Wish this track made a comeback in Doom Eternal😔. And This is the reason why I replay Doom 2016 from time to time because of this song.

It did make a comeback although its not the same. Both songs are based on the original "Sign of Evil" In DooM Eternal it plays on Sentinel Prime. Look up Sentinel Prime Unreleased soundtrack.
@@MichaelMiller-bs3tz it also plays when you get back in the fortress after killing the third Deag, when you have to kill escaped demons cause Khan Maykr sabotaged the power.

So, in mordern Doom Lore, millions of years ago, in one of the countless dimensions created by The Father, one planet got pierced by a giant crystal, which spawned some weird demonic things called the "Wraiths", who used their powers so that the planet could sustain life. The first beings to emerge on the planet seeded by the Wraiths were giants that the lore tablets call "The Ancestrals" who spent their time fighting each other, which was a pretty poor influence on all life that evolved after them, as eventually it was just mankind itself in a planet inhabited by horrific creatures they had to hunt down, just to survive... They knew about the Wraiths, and conjured their strength to become mightier. Eventually, there was a dominant kingdom on the planet called "Argenta", and they ruled supreme over the planet of the Wraiths, praising them for their help, until they were eventually visited by beings that came from the dimension where the Father Itself lived. These guys were the Makyrs, and they were WAY smarter than humans, to the point where their home was essentially a massive supercomputer where they stored the souls of the diseased, Urdak. The Argenta were really fucking strong, and the Makyrs were really fucking smart, so they decided to mix brains and brawns to make an unbeatable alliance. So the Souls of the Argenta people who passed away were given an afterlife stored in Urdak, alongside the souls of diseased Makyrs, and every 10,000 years, with the help of the Father, they transfigured the old leader of the Makyrs into a brand new one. This leader was the Khan Makyr, the one both the Argenta people and the majority of Makyrs looked up to lead them towards the endless cosmos. For several millions of years, the two races of beings spread order across the infinity of space, perhaps even throughout a multitude of dimensions, and the Argenta would have new Lebensraum to inhabit with some of their conquests, while the Makyrs made sure that peace prevailed upon those worlds... Their alliance was unbeatable, and they made their Father proud. One of these planets just so happened to be Mars, back when it could still sustain life, and... this world was eventually contacted by the beings from the dimension of Jekkad. Jekkad is a special place, because it's the very first reality created by The Father, but the perfection of this realm fell flat when they got tired of dying and started begging for The Father to grant them immortality. So, to end death, He would also have to end creation itself, which is troublesome, so the Father denied them this one wish they shared, as even the Makyrs that coexisted with Him in His home accepted an end sooner or later... This went on until the Primeval of Jekkad, Davoth, the one immortal entity of this realm, and the one responsible for overseeing it, tried to fight the Father in a fit of rage. Of course, he was defeated, and the Father decided to preserve him in the form of a Life Sphere in Jekkad as punishment for his treason. Without Davoth in Jekkad, things started going a bit downhill, to the point where the people of that world threw a revolution that promised to be permanent. They developed a hierarchy with the strongest rulling the weakest, and all of them would rather live a life of permanent suffering, just for the sake of living as long as they possibly could, which resulted in a reality where most of them were reduced to virtually immortal pawns that eventually died serving virtually immortal rulers, who would also die sooner or later because Karma. In the Doom multiverse, this is how Hell was born. This raging flame of a reality that cannot be extinguised started ravaging other realities made by The Father, following the logic that if all other realities accepted death, then they should as well die for them, who want to live forever. In other words: the Argenta that settled on Mars got invaded by demons, and took drastic measures to defend themselves... If I recall correctly, some of those people escaped to the Earth, which is where humanity as we know it would come to be, but some stayed behind, and had to come up with a plan to stop the demons. The most remarkable remnant of those events is still active, a cube that claims to be many, the Soul Cube, where apparently a multitude of Souls were stored. This miniature of Urdak speaks to the unnamed Marine in Doom 3, claiming to gain power that can be lent to him upon the destruction of evil (supposedly by burning the Hell energy that seems to fuel all the demons in their immortality). This is one likely explanation as to how Mars was cleansed of demons by a really strong warrior (way before the Makyrs and the Argenta met Doomguy). This cube is later found as an Easter Egg in the Fortress of Doom, in a corner of the Doom Slayer's mancave, possibly implying that (after he met the Makyrs and was accepted by the Argenta) he crossed that planet, and retrieved that one holy artifact, which the UAC from 2016's dimension never got to seize, when you think about it. It's most likely that the Soul Cube was emptied back onto Urdak's memory before the Unholy Crusade began, as there are no Souls to help him when the Khan tries to disrupt his ship.
@nunoosorio38323 жыл бұрын
In short, the Original Doomguy was not the hero in Doom 3 in particular, as he was either in Hell, or meeting the Argenta people in a completely different world, at the time the game took place (as explained by the ending of Doom 64, where the Doomguy decided to stay in Hell to torment the demons forever, and a Mother of All Demons just tossed him to an alternate dimension to get rid of him). Instead, we fight as a brave Marine that is helped by a Miniature of Urdak against hordes of malnourished demons, to prevent them from spreading towards the Earth... Btw, The Father tried to keep Hell's existence a secret for the Makyrs, as he didn't want them to be corrupted by the temptation of immortality, which is why neither the Argenta of the Mainland, nor the Makyrs themselves, know of Hell's existence until Doomguy winds up in there and reveals to them what demons are. (They went through the effort of learning English just to understand him.)
@nunoosorio38323 жыл бұрын
I forgot to mention: burning Souls is what makes the demons immortal and strong as they are. Once The Father unexpectedly left Urdak, after the Makyrs met the demons, they could no longer transfigure the old Khan into a new one, so their only option was to make an unholy union with Hell, where the Argenta permanently fought demons to conquer new worlds for Hell to consume. The twist is that, rather than being stored in Urdak, their Souls began being burned to give the Khan Makyr immortality. The Argenta eventually found out about the plan; started a civil war to leave the Makyrs, which failed; and the end result was a twisted world fighting just to keep the Khan Makyr immortal. It worked wonders until the Makyrs picked the Earth of that reality to be consumed, and the Slayer takes it personally, going all the way to Urdak to bust the Khan once and for all. Don't ask me about the Ancient Gods DLC...

Always best served when you hear that "blip blip" sound, your health bar reads at 3, but you glory kill the right mother fucker that gives you the health needed back to kill everyone else. In all sincerity, as someone who grew up playing the OG Doom games, this was the best "reimagining" of an older franchise I've ever seen. It really does play like old school Doom, just with better graphics and an absolutely perfect musical score that for me competes with the greats of the Mario games, and Marty O'DONNELL with the Halo franchise. Doom eternal was okay, but for me this game is a modern classic of which I will never get tired of playing through.

if it was a song called "Sighter - Doom", yeah that dude straight up used the Choir in that trance music that is not even a nice one, it's pretty garbage. many went into the comment section in the official upload of that song to tell that the guy stole the choir and didn't even bother to edit it.
@Styxius3 жыл бұрын
@@Zanieon Yep, it was. I've filed a dispute. Left Zenimax a voicemail. Sent the artist and the "copyright" holder an email regarding it. Among other things. That Sighter dude's song sucks as well. Sorry to rant. I loved your edit and used it as background music. I wouldn't be mad if Bethesda Copyright claimed it obviously as they own it. But, the fact this POS company wants to copyright people for what they don't own is absurd.
@Styxius3 жыл бұрын
@@Zanieon In case you were curious at the end of the copyright matter and for those interested. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hey *, (Censored my name) Thanks so much for sending that over, and for letting us know about this claim! An artist that we distribute used ~20 seconds from the track you used in your video to create a remix of this song from the Doom soundtrack, which is what caused Content ID to match our track against your video. I've reached out to the label that released the track (Blue Tunes Records) to confirm that they have licensed the use of this sample in their remix to determine whether we need to remove the song from Content ID entirely. In the meantime, I've excluded the portion of the song that matched against your video (the segment you pointed out) to ensure that it doesn't continue to match against other creators' uses of this Doom soundtrack song, and I've released the claim on your video!
