Mick has worked his ass off, and even though it hurts we have to let him go.There is no person who can ever come close to his genius. I am a baby boomer that wishes I could have been in one of his early days.Now he has mellowed and I love his new venue.PLEASE keep.singing.

To date, no one has appeared under the influence of Simply Red simply because no one has managed to imitate Mick Hucknall. His talent is unique, it comes from his soul which transcends this world. It is an inimitable as well as unique talent.

I always enjoyed Mick's music with Simply Red or solo. I have most of their songs on CD. It took a lot of guts to stop Simply Red, but it was a wise choice to end it.

Mick's solo career didn't really take off and when his manager reminded him that it would be the 30th anniversary of Simply Red he got the band back together for a 30th anniversary reunion tour and still going now.
