One of Mick’s best songs ever!!! I love the original version, but this version is EVERYTHING!!! The additional keyboard punches, background vocals and other nuggets made this a smash. Awesome video as well. A brutally underrated song and album.

this is actually a cool little tune. It's obvious Jagger wanted a departure from the sound of the Stones, and that's completely understandable considering he had been doing that style (at the time of this release) for over 20 years. If he had come out with a blues based straight ahead 4 on the floor rock album people would have complained that it sounded just like the Stones. I think Jagger realized you can't win with a lot of people, so he just did what he felt like doing at the time. I like it

Some Girls was the album of which the Stones really made a departure from being a tried and true blues based rock band and took a different approach after Mick had moved to Manhattan and hit the night life club scene, thus being exposed to a variety of music. This is even more evident on the Lucky in Love solo effort.

Yep. I was 25 when this song hit the charts and I remember some of the “purist” Stones fans bitchin and moanin about “goin on a solo flight”. I thought “piss on them” and the fact that this song and all three of Micks solo albums have stood the test of time proves me right and those naysayers wrong. Hey Keith did a solo album and it was awesome as well ! Ronnie and Keith had a little side band called The Expensive Whinos so ya…It’s All Good😊 👍
