Here I am 7 years later tuning to Mick’s piano outro and it hits different like it’s the 1st time hearing it. Timeless tunes

However very few artists can capture this. Lyrics with meat are so rare. Story telling is lost and modern rap is so cookie cutter it’s a joke. But Mick out here keeping the true spirit alive. The disrespect he gets by being pushed to the side is only due to his ability. They fear sustenance, they fear a mind that is awake.

This is just as touching as the album version, if not more so. This man is a poet, pure poet. That little drink of water from the glass at the end is just perfection!

The world still ain’t ready for this mans lyricism. In today’s society it would get overlooked. It’s a shame artists with such deep lyrics get shunned. This man is speaking poetry, the lyrics all have meat to them. He is truly a generational talent even if the generation doesn’t know it yet
@ANudibranch4 жыл бұрын

!!! The essense of rap is that it is poetry over a rhythm.. The rap/poetry Mick writes and then recites is really deep conceptually; It's hard to even fully understand as he raps what he's conveying, however, I believe this is how rap is suppsoed to exist, to express yourself and how you really feel and what you really think about you/others/your-world, as opposed to completely focusing on bling, fads, and insults.. For that reason I respect Micks music and I'm glad he shares it with the world

if you dont Kneed the doe correctly it becomes to thin. So Mick is saying that if you don't take care of your money and or lend it out to often youll find yourself in need of it. It has spread to thin. So he is saying to take care of your friends by showing them how to make money not just letting them have it.
