He sings with such passion and emotion yet people walk past him and seemingly oblivious to his raw talent. We take artists like him far too much for granted. What a drab world we would be living in without people like him.

One of my favourite songs. Always reminds me of when I was a young lad running round careless and free with my brothers getting up to one thing and another lol,. “God how quick we grew up😟,... god be with them days,..And now I think back of so many family and friends have passed on🙏🏼, god Rest them all,. and on the other hand i have so so many lovely memories, ☘️👍🏻❤️

I think most peop;e are preoccupied with what they have to get, what they have to buy and who to see etc. Buskers always brighten the atmosphere of a city street, especially if they can sing and play the instrument so well.

The burning pride is in the people hearts passing.. it's in the Irish genes pride not but not to show emotion at this time.. so they pass by with their hearts bursting.. probably comes from famine times better to hide your true feelings

A great song that I first heard and have on vinyl the barleycorn live at the embankment. Mick sings this brilliantly. Will look out for him on Henry Street or around the streets of O'Connell Street when I go home to Dublin this year. He is a breath of fresh air and an inspiration to any musician and any music lover. 👍🍺🥃🇮🇪🇮🇪Erin go bragh.

there are like 20 buskers on the street at any one time and the same people probably go up and down it several times a day. Cant stop for everyone, you would never get home.
