Shaun I’m so glad Mick turned out to be the father. But if Ollie was Dean’s son I think his birth would’ve been more evidence that Dean raped Linda. But also I agree Mick would raise Ollie as his own son

Not necesarily. People get genes from each parent to get their blood type. I'm not an expert but in the form that I understand the way this would be is that O is a recessive blood type which means that a person can carry that blood type in their DNA but actually be either A or B type. This means that most likely Shirley is A or B type with a recessive O gene and Buster is the other type (if Shirley has type A then Buster would have type B) but both have the recessive O. When they had Mick he got both recessive Os from them meaning his blood type is O, but when Dean was conceived he got A from one parent and B from the other which means he got AB type. I'm guessing they gave Dean AB type because it's the only blood type that can't have the recessive O gene.
