Another banger mate! I think what makes your POVs so good is you can see pretty much everything as you would at eye level. A lot of other POV car channels are a bit too high, so you can’t see the rear mirrors really. Keep up the great work Mick 👍

I personally use the head strap, and it works great if you have small adapters that let you adjust the distance and angle properly. I place two small adapter pieces between the head strap and the camera, and then the camera is exactly where I want it to be-so that it doesn’t block my view and still has the perfect angle. By now, I find this method better than using a cap.

Great Video as always man. I personally would use a pair of glasses or sunglasses to rest the camera on top of so it doesn't restrict my view, I find the camera can be quite distracting in front of my eyes. Also for the GoPro warping effect, if you use the MAX lenses mod, this still gives a wide shot without the distortion around the edge.

Terrific video! I've been very interested in POV recording, not while driving but walking, and portability and miniaturization while still having quality is a huge issue I kept pondering on. I'll give DJI a look, since everything you've described here sounds really neat. Also great tips for how to move for the most useful footage, since you're essentially signing up to be a cameraman too and have to start thinking like it.

Thank you! I think for walking stuff look into the Insta360 One 3 It's absolutely tiny and has decent quality. You could clip it onto a backpack or something and nobody would ever notice it

I've bought this exact camera for driving POV videos. I can't grasp the angle. I'd get a good angle but then my vision is limited to driving and I don't think it's safe. Would you be able to do a video that's dedicated to this?

to get even better 10 bit quality upload it in hdr so it can do it even better and enhance dark shadows and very very bright colors

Given that the average standard of driving is just above that of a trained chimp, if a driver is involved in any sort of incident, in Britain they could be charged under S3 RTA 1988 for Careless driving or S2 dangerous driving, depending on the situation, if it can be proved that their view or ability to drive safely was impaired by eg. a GoPro blocking their vision.

Maybe the way I did it is wrong but to be honest the view and perception of distance feel quite impaired. I must disagree on the choice of wireless lavalier. The offerings from Rode sound better and are more reliable, albeit less versatile. DJI spends a lot more money on marketing.
