If anyone is wondering why they didn't win its because two main reasons. 1) Mickey, isn't considered a singing song its a cheer song 2) Safety violations, while the cannon went correctly they take points off for any risk of students.

+Christy Snell their choreography is impeccable, they're vocals are pretty much perfectly on point, they're synchronised to the enth degree, if this was reality - no way anyone would beat them. They're a perfectly polished and put together machine, of course it's all fiction, but in the real world - sob stories, being the 'underdogs', and the occasional impressive park and bark just doesn't cut it.

Jessica Kelly actually sue had planned all this. she reveals it to shuester at the end, it was all about the judges they had some issues with the canon and the jumping thing in their past. anyway it was fun to watch them and rachel's reaction :)

They didn't win because it was more about the stunts and tricks than the actual singing. Which was the point of the contest since Mickey is more of upbeat song than a vocally challenging song. Although seeing Sues dreaming of shooting someone from a canon was oddly satisfying.

I just love how people think this choreography is so intricate and detailed when, in reality, if you have two semi athletic partners with a standard weight ratio, anybody can pull off those flips and whatnot. Now of course, flexibility and the ability to perform in a seductive manner do help the moves to have a better stage presence, but the actual execution is simple. Even in heels. You just need to know how to land. The hardest things in this were the canon - I respect you need some guts to do that - and the Colorguard aspect. And actually, the center thrower on the left totally screwed up the final toss, showing that that part actually is difficult. But really, they were just making simple dance moves look better with glitzy outfits. Not impressed.

the problem with vocal adrenaline is that it's too sexual. when they did Another One Bites the Dust they kind of just gyrated on each other while adding harmonies while Jesse sang the lyrics. they seem to use the girls as props to grind on, almost.
