How does the resin coasters hold up against heat ? Or are these only good to use for cold drinks or just decoration ? Fish bowl idea : something Easter related like a bunny coaster, or easter egg coaster

+Chispa The resin is not good for hot. They will stick to a hot cup. They are perfect for cold drinks or decoration. I actually have Easter coasters coming up next week!

It had a 3rd mold with Santa & sleigh,snowman, trees, & other Christmas scenery items. You & Amazon are killing me. Just ordered about $200 worth of craft supplies this week. Going to work on some transparencies later today. I have most of your downloads from your website & can't wait to try them. I'm going to have to come out of retirement @ this rate. your ideas are awesome as are the items you come up with, just a few questions, a. would it be possible to cut the wait time down in half if your going to be putting in a picture of some sort, or do u have to wait till it is dry?, b. on some of your vids you printed out on a clear sheet of something? and paint the back to make it stand out more, what is that clear sheet?

+mgoodbuild You might be able to try it earlier. I haven't tried it. I just do it before going to bed and finish the final layer the next day. Or do the first layer in the morning and finish it up that night and it can cure overnight. The clear sheet is transparency film.

+Rhonda Lee You can but you need to use mod podge to seal it in or the resin will soak into it and dull the image like if you dipped it in water. trust me. I learned the hard way LOL

U know what it's seem so funny that you are doing Micky mouse coasters as I'm doing a painting of Micky mouse to mark the 60 years of Disney which is the Diamond Year of how long they been going so I've done a painting of Mickey Mouse through the years with the castle in the middle and also just finished and Alison Wonderland picture. Great video Mona! My niece used to watch Mickey Mouse all the time!! +Tracy McCartney Hi Tracy. Sometimes I have uneven edges. When I take them out (after 12 hours +/- ), I take an old pair of scissors and give them a trim. I like the ridge, so when there is condensation on a glass it doesn't roll right off of the coaster. However, you can and I have on some occasions, pulled the coaster and them laid it on a flat surface, and added a little resin to even it all out. Offhand I can think that I did it on the square present coaster this winter and on the beauty of nature coaster. Hope that helps!

What would happen if you put real flowers in a coaster with the resin covering them? Would they keep their colors or would they still fade? Also, would there be too many bubbles to do flowers in resin? I am looking for some method to preserve flowers where they don't fade, but instead keep their pretty colors. If you can do real flowers or even blades of grass, that would be a nice idea for the fishbowl. .

+Brandywine6969 Fresh flowers will change colors and eventually fade. They also give off bubbles. I have seen dried flowers, but you need to seal them first. I like the blades of grass. I have some dried ornamental grass outside right now.

You just have to love Micky and Minnie... How about real pressed flowers or real candy for Easter coming up for a coaster. I tried real pressed flowers and it was a fail for me. I think I need to glue them down and add paint. Because some petals became transparent and did not lay flat.
