I was there this past week, and the parade began with the Headless Horseman riding through. It was awesome!

This is the first time when the parade started during dusk before nighttime. It’s kinda weird to have Halloween in summer or should I say “Summerween”!

There are two parades that really are my favourites. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween parade with “Boo To You”. The other is the DLP Christmas parade with “Chant C’est Noel”. These two tracks are iconic & the best songs ever.

They brought out the chicken girl costumes from the Magic Kingdom Easter parades?!?!? Wow. Definitely an odd new addition to the Halloween parade.

From when I was last at the Boo To You parade there’s been a few tweaks. It used to start with the Headless Horsemen, the Pirates included Jack Sparrow, Goofy wasn’t in the Western Section, but he was in the float that Venelope now cycles on about sweets & there was a section with Haunted Mansion dancers with spades. A few of the villains at the end have been switched up, but the main core of the parade is pretty much in tact. Of course when I saw it the parade was a number of years old, so it’s possible even I saw an altered parade from the original one.

The Mickey's 🐁👦 Not-So-Scary 😧 Halloween 🎃 Party 🎊 at Magic 🪄 Kingdom 🏰 in Orlando, Florida happened on the month 🗓️ of October 🎃. 💜

In my opinion, this Halloween parade looks great, but it definitely has some potential for improvements. Here's what I could see the Magic Kingdom do to help improve the parade: - Create a new main title float, which would feature a Mickey Mouse Jack O'Lantern with the parade's title carved in the middle. Also, have some mischievous ghosts surround it, to add a little extra enhancement to it. - Re-insert Minnie's dialogue during the first float. - Instead of Jack Sparrow and the characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, have Peter Pan, Wendy Darling, the Lost Boys, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee appear on the pirate ship. - Following the ship, add a giant Tick-Tock Croc figure that follows it, with a party hat and a chewed-up party horn. - Add in some new floats themed around Coco and Elena of Avalor (celebrating Dia de los Muertos), Pink Elephants on Parade (from Dumbo), Monsters Inc. and The Nightmare Before Christmas. - Bring back the Winnie the Pooh float that was used in the past. - Re-insert Wreck-It Ralph's dialogue during the Candy Factory unit. - This may sound a bit bold, but it would be really cool to see the steampunk dragon used in Festival of Fantasy be included in the Villains section.
