This is the part where Mickey takes a nap from his journey finding the mirror shards, but his... "buzzer" goes off.

I had to check the description and I was right. Everything (or most of it) is from that Magical Mirror game for the GameCube. That snoring sound effect brought back so many memories. I don't know why I played that game so much when I was younger.

For me, it's because I really wanted to play Kingdom Hearts, but my parents got me a GameCube, not a PS2, so Magical Mirror was the next best thing for me. It was also one of the few GameCube games I actually owned (as opposed to just renting it from Blockbuster) and, quite honestly, a decent game for then-kid-me, who couldn't quite figure out actual challenging video games like Super Mario Sunshine just yet.

Impressive animation and Mickey rig (though you are playing a DANGEROUS game using the non-public-domain version of Mickey, good luck!). My only complaint is that the riggin/weight-painting around Mickey's mouth seems very unpolished and crinkly. Maybe it's just a limitation of SFM (Frankly, blend shapes/morph targets are the only way to do expressive faces on characters that originated in 2D like Mickey, not bones), or you may have to do limited CG-friendly facial expressions like in the original GameCube game, I dunno. But it's always cool nonetheless when a 3D animator tries to recreate the best traditional 2D animation had (and still has) to offer!

Bro Disney's prolly gonna get ya for this one The copyright expiration was *exclusively* for the Steamboat Willy design (black and white), and does not include the colored design of Mickey Mouse

I'm sure he knows from the comment sections of the last several Mickey Mouse videos he's uploaded and playing with fire anyway. Kind of respect that, honestly, people were acting like they were doing something rebellious using Steamboat Willie Mickey in their designs, even though the US government and Disney literally gave us public domain rights to that version of Mickey, which literally means we are not breaking any law that way. This guy's a real maverick, the question is whether he's brave or just stupid using more modern interpretations of Mickey Mouse.

@JeffreyThrash While making fan art, fan animations or any derivative work is technically unlawful in copyright law, it's generally regarded as a murky grey area. Even though thousands, if not millions of people make fan art and animations of pretty much anything they admire (Mickey Mouse included), most copyright cases are rare for those people because the companies who holds the IP rights mostly want to play it wise and let them use their characters anyway, because it's considered free advertising to them, and that they don't want to have their reputation harmed by striking down fans who are truly devoted to their own work, which is considerably unethical. How I truly feel about this in my opinion, is that I think making fan art and animations of Mickey (and same goes for the other characters you admire) are fun, fantastic and great, because it does show appreciation to the characters you love to offer for them and the company you'd want to work with some day, but I do honor the copyright law, and if Disney tells me to remove the Mickey Mouse content, then I'd be more than happy to comply and respectfully do as ordered.
