Mickey Trumpeter MADNESS🟡💿- Disney Lorcana Deck and Gameplay - Into the Inklands

In this Lorcana video, I build a deck using Mickey Mouse Trumpeter to cheat characters into play way before they normally can. By combining this card with Amber ramp cards, we can get a Mickey Mouse Trumpeter in play on turn 3 and a Goofy out on turn 4.

super fun deck. the lack of removal makes me a bit nervous. Goofy all of a sudden becomes amazing for location destruction however. Thanks for posting!

You are right to worry bout the lack of removal. The deck isn't overly powerful and has lots of weaknesses, but there is something fun about dropping a turn 4 Goofy / Pluto. I'm glad that you had fun with the video!

pluto and goofy because they are mickeys best friends. mickey with only 1 willpower makes him so squishy especially against steels hard removal arsenal and ping dmg cards but yeah it’s definitely possible to pull off, chernabog also pairs well with steels A whole new world to get tons of characters in discard

Yes, the 1 willpower is a problem for Mickey. I find that he almost never gets 2 triggers. The fact that he has to exert to activate his ability makes it a one-move wonder, that isn't quite worth the price. Its still fun to try out. :)

I pulled one of these in a sealed tournament and when u could get him out he was great in that format

Yes, his stats could have been pushed further. We will see in the future though. If there is a high impact top end drop he might become better.

You can always just play just in time to play mickey on 3. Then free up 3 other card slots for damage or bodyguards. Such as Baloo, or simba.

@@benbailey8807 That is true, although we really only need the bodyguard when Mickey exerts, so we can still lanturn -> mickey -> trigger + bodyguard

Oh sure that works as well. I was thinking more along the lines of Turn 2. Simba Turn 3. Just in time to play mickey. Turn 4. You've already got a bodygaurd in play, and Mickey. So use Mickey's ability and quest with simba. So there is no need for ramp. Even using Pluto (Friendly pooch) doesn't make this move any faster. However, I might trade King Louie for Maximums (palace horse) or Bernard. As you could also just play Maximums the following turn (bodygaurded) after you play mickey to protect him that way too. If you keep Pluto Friendly pooh, or lantern. You could theoretically play Maximus the following Turn after mickey and still use Mickey's ability too. Additionally, you could run it like this. Turn 1, pluto Turn 2, lantern Turn 3, just in time mickey + simba. Turn 4, use Mickey's ability and play any other 3 cost. The biggest thing is getting enough draw to keep up.
