The first ten seconds of this clip bug me. I can't recall if this was addressed in the books or not, but in the TV series at least, the whereabouts of Boopie is never addressed again.

PLOT HOLE at 7:03! Estelle saw the clock at the shopping center lots of times, so it doesn't make sense that she doesn't remember it! Trans-Barrier Effect is not the answer either, because its effect went away when Estelle returned to her side! It's not Emily Rodda's fault anyway, it's the fault of the people who took the story Emily Rodda wrote for her book and changed it for no reason.

It could also be that the effect works both ways so you don't remember everything. Or she was always in her own world. That is, thinking a lot, trying to remember who she was.
