Hi, I need HELP. I'm using a rs232 to usb adapter, i can connect to the micom and read events, and configure date and time. but when trying to extract settings it says communication error. i can't have a pc with serial port. or a original micom cable only generics cables. any ideas? Thanks

Dear bro. First which relay you are use .second kindly check your cable is good condition. After check you have the correct data model for micom easergy studio. Last thing kindly check driver install in pc or laptops. Dear bro no problem if you have no serial port. I recommend for you don't use adapter plz buy cable also available in market and also cheap I also use.

Hi. Thanks for the replay. 1. Using P123 v12.A and 14.B 2. The cable is good, its new 3. The data models imported are 121, 122, 123 and 127 v6 to v15 4. The drivers works fine, I also program VHF Radios and the cable for that use the same Prolific Driver as the serial cable. 5. unfortunately here in Argentina we don't have eBay, and directly from Schneider electrics they don't have the cable. My only option is for use of a generic cable. Today we have a company coming for checking the cells for re torque, and they gonna check if maybe is the front port of the micom in fail.

@@electricaltech4u45 Hello. sorry for not replying. i just forget about the comment in the video. i got a "new" USB to serial cable from Telemecanique. it works great. Also was missing Modbus drivers in the laptop. Now i just got the issues that are easier to track now that i got the configuration in the pc, like why i can't get in the SCADA 52a and 52b (cb status open and close) from the micom thanks for the help and the replies!
