Micra K11 CGA3 swap - Surprisingly fast! - Part 3

Both gutted and glad that it's finally done. Taken us the best part of 25 hours to get all of this done I think and I'm super happy that it's all running and working but I'll miss the really early mornings with a Bacon sandwich and a Coffee, late nights scratching my head on what we need to do or change for next time to fix whatever dumb problem we come across and the back and forth underneith the car fitting that $&%*ing mid section of the exhaust. Multiple injuries from nose bleeds to crushed fingers and more, minor set backs from not having the right size jubilee clip to huge devestating set backs like not being able to select gears but we kept on going, kept our spirits high and motivation higher. Cheers for letting me a part of this project, I've learned a lot being able to get hands on and had a great time throughout.

Very nice job doing the swap. I have k11 1.0 with coils and I've been wondering what did you take from the 1.4 aside from the engine ? Did you also change the ECU or any wiring ?

Just the engine mate, everything else fits fine and runs perfectly, no ECU or wiring change needed.

I never recorded a pull with the 1 litre unfortunately because it was too slow so I never bothered haha

CGA3 is just the engine code mate. It’s a standard 1.4 from a Micra.

@@TheCruise94 ahh cool thx, so you got the 1.4 from later model but left 1.0 gearbox in, hence rapid acceleration!!
