Micro Entity Status: How to Qualify and How to File

Question please, once you fill out this micro entity status form where do you file it? There’s no real data on where to put this form or where to send it to.

Thank you for your message. Your form is filed at the time you file your application. When you get to the upload documents section of your application you can upload your form. After uploading you can choose the form type by typing in micro-entity into the search bar and "assign" your document a name "Certification of Micro Entity" either by income or Higher education circumstances. is it true you can only sell the patent (not license) to a large corporation If you qualify for a micro entity or Small entity?

Thanks for your question. It's a bit more complicated than a simple black-and-white answer. Your entity size does matter, but there are ways to strategize. Best to contact someone who specializes in selling and licensing of patents.

Im from the uk looking to file a PPA in the US Do you know if to file for micro entity I have to be a ltd company already? Or can i just put my year wage in that i make from my full time job? Many thanks, Dean

@@zuutube875 "first named" inventor as in the first inventor to be named on the invention. Not just the first name of the inventor.
