I just forget the quad after watching your house... Awesome house... by the way quad build was very well described and in details too.... cheers..

Really like the look of this. I'm waiting for mine to turn up. Will be using the tiny little Flysky receiver. You have the cleanest soldering technique I have seen in a long time. Good job.

Seems extremely tail heavy with the batt in the back and all the extra material on the rear arms. Did you have to trim it excessively?

What battery capacity did you use? 500mah? I have the same frame with syma x5c electronics and motors but it shakes so bad when flyes, i think the stock syma PIDS are not meant for a frame like that and i cant change them 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@sohansunku10164 жыл бұрын
It was rated at 550mah. And I agree I don't think the stock syma tune will work with this frame. A small brushed fc like the one I used shouldn't be too expensive these days

Watched many videos but your soldering is perfect what Temperature you are using for this board
@sohansunku10164 жыл бұрын
I don't recall the exact temperature but your solder will matter a lot. I personally use Kester 60/40 solder

How do you get the frame to balance, i mean to say is with the battery on the back does it tilt from the weight?
@sohansunku10166 жыл бұрын
vassilis Thegreek The flight controller figures it out and compensates by adding thrust to the rear motors. It's not ideal though, and I ended up switching to a frame where I could mount in the middle
@pacattack71216 жыл бұрын
Sohan Sunku thanks for the reply mate. Im putting a syma x5c board in this frame, do you have any good tips to watch out for before i begin? Will it work?
@sohansunku10166 жыл бұрын
I'm not too sure if that board will work in this frame. This frame is designed specifically to hold the included flight controller, as it uses some small tabs to keep it in place. The mounting pattern on the syma x5c seems a little different. Additionally weight is a huge factor in these micro quads, and every gram counts. The x5c board seems quite heavy, but I wish you luck with your build

Iam using fsi6 transmitter does it bind with receiver ? It's pwm and what's ppm
@dustinplee50673 жыл бұрын
does it come with all that because i was planning to buy if off eBay and can you use brushless motors that have just the thin wires and solder the brushless motor wires to the drone motherboard and is there a app for the drone for the camera and can a FrSky Taranis X9 Lite 2.4GHz 24CH ACCESS and what is s bust mean and the other mean and what do they do
@sohansunku10163 жыл бұрын
Apologies for the late reply. The flight control board is built specifically for brushed motors. With this setup you would be unable to run brushless motors and I would personally opt for a different setup that is meant for brushless flying.

Is it possible to use a receiver without a plug? And If so how? Thanks.
@sohansunku10167 жыл бұрын
clarence soh teak ang With the board that I used in this build it's easiest to use a plug, but if you're soldering skills are good enough you can direct solder to the small pins behind the female plug on the fc.

Hi can someone help me? I binded my Taranis to my rx and I get the solid LED. I have it set to D8. On cleanflight I can connect to the board but the receiver sticks don't reflect in cleanflight. uArt 2 is to serial, and under receiver I am set to serial, SbUS.
@sohansunku10167 жыл бұрын
+Norman Torres Is there any movement in the receiver tab when you move the sticks? Also, is the battery plugged into the quad?

Sohan Sunku, what rx do you use for Taranis? OrangeRx or else?
@sohansunku10167 жыл бұрын
hanomancakep for this build I used one I found on amazon link is in dezcription
@hanomancakep7 жыл бұрын
Sohan Sunku, for Tx in Taranis, are you using this Tx or blank: hobbyking.com/en_us/orangerx-dsmx-dsm2-compatible-2-4ghz-transmitter-module-v1-2.html

I am not using the orange module, just the built in frsky one

Noted..I'm still having problem binding to Taranis..seems the satellite receiver must be bind with other fc before connected to allienflight
@sohansunku10167 жыл бұрын
hanomancakep Well that's weird. Make sure you are using D8 mode on the tx. Just wondering, did you use the same rx I did?

I'm building one of these too, still waiting on parts from China :( Have you tried it on 2S? Thanks for the video.
@sohansunku10167 жыл бұрын
Callum Mckay I haven't tried it out on 2s. I don't think that this fc is able to, but I know that hobbymate sells another fc that can handle 2s
@hectyre7 жыл бұрын
The board I have 'SPracingf3evo' supports 2s
@sohansunku10167 жыл бұрын
Callum Mckay Oh it's probably a variation. That'll be really fast, but be careful. My motors get pretty warm when I push em on 1s
@hectyre7 жыл бұрын
Sohan Sunku yeah it looks a bit like the board you're using. I found 2S rated motors, hopefully they'll cope 😁
