I have a few questions. One I'm scared to start because I always do mini braids and I wet and oil my hair daily as a moisturizer. Here are my questions 1. When starting out, how often did you oil and wet your hair or even washed your hair? 2. I workout a lot but I am not familiar with the interlock method, also it looks too complicated for my liking. Do the re-twist hold and for how long? 3. I'm a college student so I'm always on the go lol, is maintaining them difficult? 4. I have very weak edges, how does one combat this when starting microlocs? Thank you so much.😊

@alluria14 жыл бұрын
Lakiela Manning I would actually suggest interlocking the also lol if they are super small, you can run the risk of thinning them. I’ve recently started using both interlocking and palm rolling for my hair maintenance. Interlocking keeps them the size that I want and gives that security by keeping your locks strong. I palm roll in between retightenings to keep it neat and untangled. 💛
@LaVenderlocx4 жыл бұрын
@@alluria1 thank you for responding. After you retwist between interlocking do you interlock the twisted section as well or just leave it and interlock from the new growth ?

Shawnee Reed thank youuu!! I believe it has to do with the size of the parts. I made sure that each loc was 1/4 of an inch in width. That’s pretty much going to insure they won’t get wider than that. Jaz Gibson they’ve been doing great! I think it’s because I’m not overly concerned with the fresh retwist look and I space out my retwists so my hair isn’t over manipulated. Over twisting is definitely a reason why locs can weaken.
