This looks to be a perfectly adequate version. It came out quite nicely. The chain spins the correct direction and everything! Lol I especially like the use of the exhaust to oil the chain. I dont know if other devices use this method but I thought it was quite ingenious. I'm willing to bet that if you put this lil beast up on kickstarter you'd have a hit. Good job. There's just something appealing about watching expensive high end machinery being used to make something arguably asinine.

Very Nice. Bigger Engine = More Better! I wonder how long this will last, im sure the gearbox has a weaklink inside, but that i guess will be taken care of when that point comes. Using the extra oil from the fuel that doesn’t burn as lubricant is a brilliant idea!

For your mk 2.5 edition, I suggest two refinements: 1. Get the fan to blow forwards (if it doesn't already). That way the wood chips will be blown away from you. 2. Connect the fan to the engine shaft before the clutch, so it cools the engine constantly - not just when the chain is spinning. You could machine an access hole on the side of the crankshaft opposite the flywheel side and connect the fan from there to spin directly with the engine crankshaft, if there isn't enough space on the flywheel side.
@MrCrackbear
@MrCrackbear 5 жыл бұрын
In the video he clearly shows himself putting a fan on the engine shaft itself and the fan spinning when the clutch is disengaged, but yeah the blowing away thing is a good idea
