It’s great that you do these videos with your father. I used to fish with my father till I lost him just about 2 years ago. I sure do miss fishing with him but I have a a 1 year old son and I can’t wait to get him out on the water and make memories like my father and I made. Come up to New York this winter and do some ice fishing with your old man it’s a great time. I would love to take you out.

I love fishing , there is nothing more in this world more fun than fishing, I wish , I had someone early in life that could have though how to freshwater and would have explained the different type of reels and what not. I stopped fishing for a few reasons and one of them was because I would bird nest my reels ,my dream if I could ever make it happen would to have someone like LFG take the time and teach this old man how to properly fish and understand a sport that I truly love.

secondstate fishing first of your channel name is clever. Secondly if he even has heard of the trick to pour soda in the fish’s mouth it would’ve stopped the bleeding. Soda has citric acid which help the blood clot easier and quicker.

I personally do all of my fishing on a little Walmart ultralight. Mostly crappie fishing, but I do go after a bass or cat on no more than 6 pound test. Love the competition between you two!

I love seeing you and your dad out fishing i absolutely love to fish but my father sadly killed himself when I was 2 so nobody has every tough me how to fish with anything other then worms or crickets!! I love to go after those nice pan fish but I really would like it if someone would’ve taken the time to show me how to use soft plastic baits to target those huge mondo bass!! I also would enjoy learning more about different ways to rig for bass fishing. I’m now 23 and have a son I care more about giving him good information and show him how to go after big bass I just always want so so much more for him then I have had,I just think of the saying teach a man to fish for a day and he can feed himself for a lifetime!! I’m a huge fan of yourself, rob and just the whole squad keep fishing and working hard I’m so excited for you to experience being a father it’s so challenging at times but always rewarding and worth every second when they run up and give you a huge hug you and osg are gonna be great parents!!

I would just once like to see someone do a presentation of bass fishing on a river in the backwaters ...I live in North Carolina and I am more adverse to fishing brackish water/ rivers. So many videos show us how to fish Lakes. I'm not able to get to our Lakes. I do fish from a boat but majority of my fishing is in the rivers/tributaries.. the rivers I fish here are the New River, the Neuse River, the Trent River and so forth. You asked for suggestions so I thought I'd throw this out. Love your videos!!

Great video. My Dad didn't fish, but my Grandfather taught me. Long story short, Grandfather was a drunken sot when my Dad was young. He sobered up when I was 6-7 years old. He taught me things he missed out with my Dad.

Great video! Everytime I'm fishing with my dad, my brother or both it always turns in to a competition. With trash talk and shenanigans. You could do a most species competition. First to catch 5 fish with 5 different lures. We've also done one were everyone uses same 5 lures and you have to catch 5 different species and once a lure catches a fish you can't use it anymore. We've also each took same 10 lures and once a lures caught a fish no one can use it. Person to catch fish with the most lures when all 10 have caught a fish wins.

Love the challenge videos. Now catch some on a fly rod. Or try catching some of those Texas large mouth on the ultra light tackle. As a kid we would crappie fish and a school of hybrids would come through. It was always a blast catching a 4-5 Lb hybrid on 4-6Lb line
