I currently have these extensions, and unfortunately have to get them removed due to damage they have caused. However, please note that I have thin, fine, Caucasian hair. The weight of the beads, even the micro ones, was too much for the thickness and amount of my natural hair to hold. My hair and scalp is more delicate than most. If it wasn't for that, I would have LOVED keeping them in. They truly look incredibly natural, and updo's are surprisingly easy. Even if the extension or bead shows through, it is so unnoticeable!

I would always recommend individual hand blended and hand pre tipped mini protein bonds for alopecia, chemo recovery, fine & fragile hair. They must be installed & removed by a highly experienced HE Technician so no damage is caused. If you follow your at home maintenance and the removal is done by a caring technician with lots of patience ( preferably same person who installed them) your hair will flourish with zero damage. A keratin treatment done first really helps to strengthen the hair as it coats it root to tip in a keratin coating and provides protection and strength to hold extensions, it lasts for 4 months which is around the same time as your protein bond hair extensions xxx

I love the way u did this...I would totally do this technique. My sister got her hair infused when it first became popular about 20 years ago and it was beautiful but the glue or holding element they used required us to use Acetone on the glue to get it out and then crush it with plyers😩 talk about a nightmare and thats my reasoning for never getting infusion but I would totally do this...It was beautifully and neatly done

Very nice never seen technique before. People need options so cant blame lady with thin hair to try. As stylist said can eventually thin hair over years but the majority of us know any extention, braids, weaves etc will do so, so should be no real shock. Nice treat for an event but just like weaves, stuff gets addictive, so the choice is yours.

@Proextensionist

Ladybug Eartha hi thanks for your questions so yes you can put in a pony this client can only have in a low ponytail because the extensions will show. If left in to long yes all hair extrnsions & weaves can put tension on your hair so recommend to have Maintinance/lifted or replaced every 8wks on someone with thin hair and 10-12wks on someone this average strand thickness.

Anita Ford morning Anita I’m sorry to hear that unfortunately I would not recommend hair extensions on thinning hair if you are still having thinning. This is because hair extensions add extra weight to your hair and may make the thinning worse. I would recommend having a sample of extensions during a consultation and see how it is after 2-3wks

Is this type of extension suitable for thin hair? I’ve lost quite a lot of hair but because I’ve got thick coarse hair it’s not too visible. Will the beads show? Or cause more damage to my hair? Courtney Bobinger hi Hun for fine hair I would use mini i-tips on people with fine hair. If I use fusion then I use u-tip strand sand will split into two for strands around the hair line. I would use 125-150 strands normally

Hi! I know it's a little bit strange question but I am really curious about it:)) After you got the permanent extensions applied to your hair, what happens if you never take them out of your hair? Can you go balding for example?
@Proextensionist
@Proextensionist 6 жыл бұрын
Bianca Ellenise yes 100% they need to be maintained every 2-3months using a fresh section of your own hair to carry the extra weight of the extensions if you leave in for to long your hair can’t hold the strands because of natural daily hair shedding

Also can you provide a link on the beads you used so I can buy the exact ones? My daughters hair is exactly like your clients hair so I want to follow your video. Thank you!!

April D hi I have stated to get me beaded from this company www.violahairextensions.co.uk they do with or without silicone lining. The strands already come pre-tipped from my hair supplier they have lots of suppliers online for pre-tipped hair search I-tip or stick tip human hair strands and you will see them. I put the bead in first then I put the pre-tipped strand inside the bead and clamp them together

Hi no it’s does not need to be relaxed please check out more resent videos. If it is relaxed and it’s first time relaxing in long while then allow 3-7 days before installing any extensions. Once your hair/scalp gets used to extensions I feel it’s fine to have installed same day as a relaxer

Hi Hun I would remembered maintenance around 3months even 10wks if your hair is fine or tangled at the root easy. Hair can we washed 1-2x a week some clients wash daily but washing often will make the extensions very dry. Wash the hair in shower or going straight back rather than flipping it over your head. Rush hair from the roots daily

MistressAlayne hi most salons don't like clients to bring own hair because poor quality hair results in tangling that then leads to lots of brushing and natural hair damage. I'm not shy with my clients about who my suppliers hair and I use a few depending on clients budget and hair texture. I normally use a Yaki Vietnamese hair on black clients but this lady liked the russian Mongolian hair blend. I stock popular colours but only in small amounts

@Proextensionist
@Proextensionist 7 жыл бұрын
Miss Diamond hi Hun I would normally contact my clients at 8-10wks with s view of seeing them around 10-12wks depending on how there hair has grown out. If your a new client then I ask you to come see me or send a photo of how your extensions are looking. Maintenance: brushing- is key must brush from the root, drying- don't ever leave to air dry even if you rough dry the roots, when you leave wet your natural hair can tangle around the extensions. Washing- wash hair in natural direction not flipped over your head, best to wash while standing in shower. Yes you can swim but I recommend only washing hair 2-3 times a week or the extensions can become very dry. Also use a low or no sodium shampoo and conditioner and low in citric acid

How often do you do maintenance on your clients hair and what do you include and charge same with reinstallation xx
@Proextensionist
@Proextensionist 6 жыл бұрын
Cara Reen hi Hun Maintinance normally depends on the clients individual hair. Most clients return around 10-12wks I wouldn’t recommend any longer thank 12wks. Depending on how your hair is coping with the extensions I would just lift the extensions back to your root. For almost all my clients I will completely remove and reinstall strands around the sides of there head and only do lifting in hair around the back (if not tangled). The reason I fully remove is so that I can make clean section again and make sure enough of your natural hair is inside the bead to take the weight of the extensions for another 3 months. If you keep just lifting again and again your hair won’t handle the weight and you will start to thin or break your hair
@Proextensionist

@Proextensionist
@Proextensionist 6 жыл бұрын
Cara Reen hi if I take them fully out I will change the beads for new beads. If I just slide up I will maybe only do this once. Then at next appointment I will normally take out and change beads and create fresh sections. For clients with thin/finner hair or hair that just does not really like extensions I would recommend a 1-2wks break twice a year

Rebel Rockk it really depends on how straight your natural hair is I have tried to install a kinky curly hair on a client with natural 4c hair but we found that after 8-10wks the roots tangled and the beads were difficult to remove. I do have a handful of natural clients and find that brazilian knots are the best single strand application method

Will this technique break the hair at the point where the beads are applied & how do you prevent that?
@Proextensionist
@Proextensionist 4 жыл бұрын
Danette Brown hi no they shouldn’t do and haven’t for most of my clients over the last 15yrs but the odd client who has weak hair or leaves them in far to long can experience breakage. Best way to know if your hair can handle them is to have small sample for 1-2wks and check shedding after. Don’t have time to long/heavy and have them maintain every 8wks not the 12wks that used to be advised
