I bought your file tool the day you published the video making them, I love it, lives on my shop door but constantly ends up stuck next to my toolbox, stuck on my car, stuck on an appliance im working on, its always at within easy reach. My yard considers any wire with insulation #2 insulated, and they take them with plugs, I consider myself fortunate for that since I tend to find so much small wire and it saves me a lot of time sorting and clipping.

No need to seperate the brass. Brass is easy to cut so just cut them in half the length of the piece and take the metal out. Strip the romex and you should get more money. Pull the prongs off the plug ends to get brass. Pull the copper off of what you cut from the aluminum copper radiators. Just some ideas that made me a lot more money.

I think contacts in outlets and switched are bronze rather than brass but it's all some copper alloy in the end 😀

Lots of mods to scrap really well. Do you think it's better to take things more apart or look for more metals? BTW copper in nh is 2.30 a pound and clean brass is going for 1.15 a pound and aluminum I think is 24 cents and scrap metal is 8 cents a pound ...sure its better where you are😂 gr8 info!
