*DISCLAIMER* The little toys I kept referring to as "Mafuba" are actually called "Maba" - I guess I had Dragon Ball on the brain 🤦♂️

I’ve been watching your vids all day as I fell down the wormhole and this one is my favorite! So many cool toys in this one. Glad to see battle beasts show up. Those are one of my all time favorites and I have a pretty solid collection.

I appreciate the views and compliments man! This shop is hands down my favorite shop in all of Japan。

Easily the best Microkan vid on youtube. Huge Nostalgia rush, as the last time I was at that shop was hanging with you, Jeremy!

Its one of my dreams to go here. I wish I wish I could just bathe in all the keshi. AFTER collecting Kinkeshi for so long as well keshi from Hakuto No Ken, Dragonball, Ultraman, and Saint Seiya, I'm very interested in seeing what else is out there. Thanks so much for sharing.

COOL! There was way more Saint Seiya stuff than I expected. Thanks for the video, TTB!

Are they playing the bubblegum crisis soundtrack in the background or something? It be bangin 😆
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI3 жыл бұрын
90% of the songs they play in this shop are bangin'! Super surprised that I didn't get a copyright flag... guess all the songs are too old and obscure.

That was a great little store, loved the tour! One day I will visit Japan and I'll be like Samwise Gamgee visiting Rivendale.

Wow, that Kinnikuman Sofubi case was loaded. Would love a closer look at that some day. Great vid!
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I actually shot some close ups of it, but a kept getting in front of me and his dad didn't look too happy about me filming him, so I didn't include it. I'll go back for an in depth "Kinnikuman ONLY" video someday ;)

This is the only shop quite like this in Japan. All the other Mandarake locations barely have anything like this. It's definitely very special, and I feel very fortunate to live nearby.

3:44 Masterforce song playing...i loved that show, but didn't think the song would be on the radio. 5:50 what game are those? they almost look like famicom games, but too narrow. 7:10 ish there was a SD man, was that Gundam armor for him? like he's a human inside a Gundam suit? that'd be cool. I just built an SD Gundam yesterday. I love the Musha style SD: the kit i built was Cao Cao Wing Gundam c2019 10:09 Kakuranger is one of my favorite Super Sentai shows! 10:30 300,000 for an "orbot"??? i have the chrome silver of that one and the bird (they turn into orbs)..mine are the KO that i got at some flea market back in the 80s 15:06 is that a Transformers seeker KO? I have no mental picture of the original toys that were changed to Transformers, so ...could it be that old? one of the very first figures before they were molded into TFs? It has the THRUST colors, almost, and no other american TF is that color (and it's definitely not Thrust). is there a person you know that does videos like you but he likes Mecha? I like Godzilla and Kaiju, but my first love is prolly Mecha, thanks to Shogun Warriors and etc...but then again, i saw Ultraman and Godzilla before Shogun Warriors were introduced to America...so it's a toss-up. i'm not trying to replace you, but i would bet you are exhausted from all of my Mecha questions. it would be the same for me if i were asked about Sailor Moon...i don't have any idea about Sailor Moon and can't tell you any of their names. like, if this were my video, and a Sailor Moon fan kept asking me questions, i'd go bonkers.

Oooooh you recorded this video in HDR. It’s perty. I think we walked by a cafe at that point and a sign said “it’s a coffee world”…. or I am just a crazy person.
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI2 жыл бұрын
looool! and yeah, all my recent videos are filmed in HDR except the ones where I have my camera flipped in selfie mode. Also, to your coffee comment, yes, and you are also crazy ;)
5:47, what is that blue robot lion keshi next to Dodoria?
@YosefASelim3 жыл бұрын
I think that pack of painted Dragonball figures you forgot were the Irwin figures... Or they at least they looked like it 😉
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI3 жыл бұрын
I couldn't see them well enough, but there was a Japanese set by Bandai made around 1993-1994 and a similar series made in France by AB Toys. Both were reissued in the USA around 1999-2000 by Irwin.
@YosefASelim3 жыл бұрын
@@TOKYOTOYBANZAI ah. Well that explains it. They're pretty awful... Paint-wise, but they were the very first Dragonball merch I ever found locally haha, so quite special to me 😅

Those monster figs on 11:50 are cool. What are they? And how much do they run for?
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI3 жыл бұрын
Those are called Maba... and they run between $300-$500+ 😬
@LewisChristisonVids2 жыл бұрын
I'd be happy with just getting a bunch of the cheap junk bags.

Do people there buy less valuable keshi to paint and look like that painted Raditz?
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI3 жыл бұрын
Not many do. I haven't met many keshi customizers outside of a couple. Most collectors enjoy the rainbow of different keshi colors.

Im not a toy collector. I have like 10 vintage star wars figures and 2 still on card but thats about it. These plastic figures are actually more interesting to me. Played so much with cheap toys like these when i was a kid. Edit: by cheap I mean that they used to be cheap. Back in the 60s/70s/80s/90s
