Today I bought the Micro Swiss FlowTech Hotend and I'm going to install it on the Creality K1 Max. This hotend from Micro Swiss printed really well, I felt it printed better than Creality stock hotend.

Hi, the nozzle should be tightened up more than hand tight, like the Creality nozzle. You should read and follow the instructions. Cheers

future note for the glue isopropal alcolhol will help release it. soak it a bit let it sit a few mins and it peels right off.

Here's what I'm curious about. I currently own the new series k1 max. There is a unicorn nozzle on it. I want to use a normal nozzle instead. But what I don't understand is, is the product in the video compatible with the new series?

I'm not sure myself as I got the older version hot end of the k1 max. I just replace the whole thing with the microswiss hotend.

I bought this and now my prints are not so good enymore. Same g codes and quality is bad. For me, the basic nozzle is better.

Yeah, I had heard some people don't really has successes with Micro Swiss hot end. To be honest, the printing quality is very similar between these two hot end.

Nice one, But your putting to much grease on your rails. Next time try lithium grease it's a lot better and easier to apply and less mess.

order one early, iv'e had my k1 max for a week and it's already bailing out, " Nozzle not heating as expected "

can e explain where blue tube is going, i cant find the way to install it.

the blue tube goes in at the top. You put in the blue tube then the extruder. That blue tube guides in the filaments into the nozzle.

For me, removing the wires was far easier than plugging them back in after the switch. I ended up removing the PCB boards and plugging them in, then putting them back. My big fat fingers couldn't do it otherwise.

Yea, it was quite hard to pull them out and putting it back in for me too.

I just got the micro swiss flowtech hotend but there is one thing is a problem for me, the hotend is good and good printing but when i take off the support the hole thing is cracked.

@@Scratch3DPrinting If you’re really looking for an upgrade, try a Mandala Rose Works 6mm cast bed and a Cartographer 3D. It becomes a different printer with those!

something about messing with the hot end makes the light turn off - some sensor must be tripped, I honestly thought I must've disconnected it's wire or something, but it's an electronic off, not a physical. you can turn it back on from the touch-screen, it shows the light icon 'off' but it never turns off by itself doing anythign else. weird.

Yes it is, I am planning to get some hardened steel nozzle, so I'll make a video showing the swap.

Very interesting that you can swap the nozzles COLD with teh Microswiss but not with the OEM.

There's already some thermal in there, it's not necessarily but if you want you can.

The nozzle u get on ur new creality hotend is a copper alloy nozzle not steel, steel ones are black

I have the new micro swiss hot end and the hardened steel coated nozzle. It's not black it's shiny everywhere except the very tip.
