Strap system is genius! I adapted a passport pouch you wear under your clothing to use for tenkara and substituted with your strap system. Took it out yesterday. Worked well. Thanks

Hook the pocket clip upside down and tuck the nippers into the straps, or use a small caribiner on top strap to hook the nippers higher to tuck in straps while hiking and hang loose while fishing.

You might want to check out a pair of scissor clamps. I've been using a mitten version but they make some that are similar to the hemostats you already carry. you might be able to get away from needing to carry the nippers that way....

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually had a lot for a few days before loosing them. Definitely just need to accept they're gone and but another pair. Didn't think about ditching the nippers though, great thought!

Thanks for watching and the comment! It's the stock band that came with my spools of Rio tippitt. Moonlit Flyfishing/Dragintail Tenkara have aftermarket bands available, though I haven't tried them.
