MD Microbiology is for 3 types of doctors- 1. Your academics is very good and may u have good connections....get into a Central Govt/ Autonomous institute...Good salary based life. 2. You can establish a good lab, have business skills, and earn, 3. U are a lazy one, don't want much in life or already have good fortune etc. then join a private medical college or a corporate hospital (if u like corporate culture). Rest all things like Communication with clinician, clinical microbiology , looking and treating patients are practically nonexistential.

Sir but fellowships in infectious disease post MD microbiology are not recognized sir they are not given junior consultants post in corporate hospital or in the team of infectious diseases.
