Knapping Mesolithic arrowheads and cutting blades. In the first part I am knapping a few Microblades with direct percussion (Indirect percussion and pressure were also used in different times and places in the Mesolithic). Afterwards I use the "Microburin Technique" to produce an extremly sharp point on a microblade. I position the blade on a ridge on the block of the ground and work my way through the blades edge till the central ridge is met. At 2:28 the blade breakes along the block`s ridge to the point, afterwards I regularize the outlines.
