Interesting video, MicroChem 1. Do you have reference method for the procedure? Perhaps by ASTM or the likes? Would appreciate if you can mention this in description. 2. Suppose the sample is a representative of larger material, is there any requirements for the sample? Particle size? Homogeneity? 3. I noticed there are two oxidizing agents used i.e nitric acid and perchloric acid. Is there any reason why? Could we make do with only nitric acid? Would appreciate if you could explain the particular reaction between each chemicals with the element of interest (maybe As or Pb?) Anyway, looking forward for the Fe by AAS video.
@MicroChemsExperiments3 жыл бұрын
Answer: 1. We developed this method at our lab by combining several methods. So no official reference method for this. 2.Sample should be crushed and blended and homogeneous portion of sample should be taken for the test. 3. Perchloric acid helps to digest sample properly. So you must use Nitric acid along with the perchloric acid to digest your sample properly. *We will make video for Fe analysis by AAS later. Stay with us.
